Discover a corner of North Vietnam where ancient history and stunning landscapes collide. Travel from the modern capital to the first capital city, Hoa Lu, and admire ancient relics. Meet the Hmong people and other minority villagers on a hilltribe excursion in Sapa. Explore the limestone karsts and rice paddies of ‘Halong on Land’ before boarding a boat to cruise the real Halong Bay. DAY 01: ARRIVE IN HANOI  

• Usually, 2 p.m. is the check-in time at the hotel. If you want to order the early check-in, there will be a surcharge fee.

Optional: The rest of this day is free at leisure. You might have a sleep to recover, or wander around for some own exploration, or consider taking part in one of our suggested activities below:

Hanoi City Tour: Hanoi is a destination for famous landscapes in Vietnam and will be the starting point for all your trips in the northern region of Vietnam.

Hanoi Street Food Tours: Explore the Vietnamese cuisine world in Hanoi by joining a food tour in the capital.

DAY 02: HANOI - HALONG BAY CRUISE

12.00: Get on the cruise then the staff will serve you a welcome drink and check-in for you

13.00: Have Vietnamese lunch while cruising through the fairyland of Halong Bay

14.30: Explore the Surprising Cave – the most beautiful cave in Halong Bay. It is one of the widest grottoes in Halong Bay with thousands of stalactites and stalagmites

15.30: Stop at Titov Island. On this small island, you can climb up the mountain to enjoy a panoramic view of Halong Bay or you can also swim on the beach if you don't want to climb

17.00:After that, you will get back to the cruise and ready for our Sunset Party with Vietnamese tea, coffee, fresh fruits, and snacks will be served when you’re relaxing on the sundeck 

19.00: Have dinner will be served at the restaurant, after dinner reward yourself with a large selection of cocktails at panoramic bar with a seasonal pool view, or take one of our onboard activities: board games, movies, and squid fishing… or relaxing with massage services.

DAY 03: KAYAKING – COOKING CLASS – HANOI

6.30: Start your new day with some exercise or enjoy the sunrise on the bay

7.30: Have breakfast at the restaurant

8.30: Kayaking to explore around Halong Bay – Discover the beauty of the bay and learn about the daily life of the local fishermen who live there

9.00: Take time to refresh and check out. Bags can be left in the luggage store

10.00: Join in the cooking class, teaching you how to make our specifically (spring rolls) before an early lunch is served

12.15 Disembark at the harbor the get on the bus to return to Hanoi

15.00: Arrive in Hanoi, check in the hotel, and rest, the guide will pick you up for dinner at 19.00

DAY 04: HANOI – SAPA TREKKING

Please have a quick breakfast or ask the hotel to prepare a takeaway breakfast

6.30: The driver will pick you up and depart for Sapa, it will take you about 6 hours to Sapa

12.30: Arrive in Sapa, your guide will take you back to your hotel to check-in and have lunch before starting your trekking

14.30: A short drive to the gate of Cat Cat Village which is home to Black H’mong ethnic people and is located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak.  

15.30: And then walk down the village to see a beautiful waterfall and power plant built by the French during the colonial time in 1925. From here you will have 40 minutes to enjoy the performance showed by boys and girls from the village. Trekking distance is about 2.5 km 

17.00: Come back to Sapa Town then have dinner at the hotel and free visit Sapa town

DAY 05: TREKKING VISIT 3 DIFFERENT VILLAGES

7.00 – 8.00: Have breakfast at the hotel, check out the room, and prepare a light pack for trekking. (Big luggage keep in hotel store)

9.00: Trek 12km down to Muong Hoa Valley. It is the most beautiful valley in Sapa where the Local Hill Tribes live and work on the rice field terraces. (from May to October)

12.30: Having lunch at a local restaurant

13.30: After lunch, we will continue trekking along the bottom of the valley to get to Ta Van village of the Dzay people to experience their way of life

15430: Bus will transfer you to the hotel and prepare luggage back to Hanoi at 16.00

21.30: Arrive in Hanoi return to the hotel

DAY 06: HOA LU – TRANG AN – MUA CAVE

7.00: Have breakfast at your hotel

8.00: Our guide will pick you up at hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter, heading to Ninh Binh, the world heritage site.

10.15: The trip starts at Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, founded in 968, it remained capital until the early 11th century when Emperor Ly Thai To moved it to today’s Hanoi. Arriving in this beautiful mountainous landscape, you’ll walk 300m to the temples of the Dinh and Le Dynasty

11.30: After finishing visiting Hoa Lu you take biking for about 30 minutes around beautiful villages

12.00 - 12.15: Have lunch at a local restaurant with Vietnamese foods

13.30: Continue we come to Trang An, where you will take a boat trip for about 2 hours you will be surprised by the beauty of this landscape that seems like Halong Bay on land.

16.00: The last destination, Mua cave. The cave is compared with “Great wall of China”. Here you walk 500 steps to reach the top of Mua cave then take a lookout at a splendid overview of Ninh Binh

17.00: End of the tour, relax and get on the bus for return to Hanoi

19.00: Drop off at your hotel

DAY 07: DEPARTURE

• Have last breakfast at your hotel

• Free at leisure for shopping until our driver comes to pick you up at the hotel for transfer to the airport for flight back home. Tour ENDs!!
